Nikita Borisoglebsky

Nikita Borisoglebsky (violin) was born in 1985 in the South of Russia.

After his post-graduate degree from Moscow's Tchaikovsky conservatoire, he entered the Queen Elisabeth College of Music in 2008. He has performed with many Russian and European orchestras, such as the Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra, the State Symphony Orchestra of Russia, the NDR Symphony Orchestra (Hanover), the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra (Poland), and the State Orchestra of Lithuania, under such conductors as Valery Gergiev, Christoph Poppen, David Geringas, Yuri Simonov, Agnieszka Duczmal.

He has won a number of prestigious competitions, including the Tchaikovsky International Competition in Moscow (2007) and the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Belgium (2009). Nikita is a regular participant in prestigious international festivals in Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Croatia, Austria and Italy.
